To the Sunrise Table Tennis Membership,
The Sunrise Sport Foundation has submitted four grants to various companies for $50,000 each, as of Sept 3, 2010. We would like all of you to be aware of the possibility of being awarded this money, because it would then impact each and everyone of you! With the added funds comes added activities and responsibilities in growing and maintaining our noted table tennis club. If you enjoy playing table tennis and deriving the many benefits that our club offers, think about how you can be effective in reaching out with your time and talents in maintaining and growing the Sunrise Table Tennis Club.
As we wait for the evaluation of our requests, the Foundation will continue to submit more grants (in various denominations), as time permits, and we will update you. So far we have heard only from our first submission, the Coca-Cola Company, and we were declined acceptance because their philanthropic priorities are of a global nature and focuses on global issues.
We would like to have a special mention to the extraordinary work Leurene Hildenbrand has been doing related to the Grant. Without her efforts and determination nothing of this would have been accomplished. Thank you Leurene!
