Each summer the City Of Clearwater host youth camp programs for students on summer school break. One of the activities conducted is Table Tennis taught by the Sunrise Table Tennis Club. At the conclusion of the camp program, a table tennis tournament is held to determine which center has the best table tennis team. This year, four teams with 10 girl/boy’s per team participated; Countryside, Long Center, North Greenwood and Ross Norton Recreation Centers. And the winner was; the Long Center? Yes, the Long Center team beat the four time defending champs, Countryside. The Long Center team lived up to their motto "Never Give UP". Trophies where awarded to each team with ribbons to all team members. A free pizza lunch topped off the fun filled tournament. Order of finish was 1^st Long Center w/blue ribbons, 2^nd Countryside w/red ribbons, 3^rd North Greenwood w/white ribbons and 4^th Ross Norton w/yellow ribbons

STTC is a 501 3(C) non profit organization and in partnership with the City of Clearwater Parks and Recreation Department offer a number of low cost programs and tournaments for all ages.
