Young Athletes Compete for Table Tennis Championship

Young athletes from several area recreation centers will be competing for the top prize in table tennis. The annual Table Tennis Junior Championship is scheduled to take place at the Countryside Recreation Center in Clearwater on Monday, July 25^th at 11:00 am. The tournament is the culmination of the Table Tennis Summer Camp program sponsored by the Sunrise Table Tennis Club (STTC) in conjunction with the City of Clearwater Recreation Department.

The table tennis summer camp is part of the year-round youth training program run by the STTC and available to all area youth at no charge. The training sessions run once a week for two hours each. This year, the twenty top Summer Camp junior players will compete for the medals at the Championship.
