Collegiate Table Tennis Scholarship Program

STTC holds three table tennis tournaments in Clearwater, Florida, as part of the Florida Sunburst Table Tennis Tour. College Club Players (CCP) are given a 50% discount off the normal tournament registration fee of $36, or $18 per college club player. (The $4 USATT fee must still be paid by the CCP.) STTC will pool all the $18 CCP fees and award it to the College Club whose players have the highest overall Sunburst Tour Points. We will call this The Myrtle Wilkins Collegiate Table Tennis Scholarship. In addition the CCP with the overall highest tour points will be awarded the Sunburst College Player of the Tour Cup

The tournament can take up to 110 players but the maximum number of CCP who may register for this program in any one Clearwater Sunburst Tour tournament will be twenty eight. The remaining eighty two slots are open to any USATT player. The slots may be filled by any CCP but the discount will not apply and any tour points they earn will not add to the overall college tour point total.

College Club and CCP Program Eligibility:

1. The College Club (CC) must be located in Florida.
2. The CC must be a member of and in good standing with NCTTA.
3. The CCP must be a member of the CC.
4. The maximum number of CCP per CC in any Clearwater Sunburst Tournament will be seven.
5. The CC must approve the CCP representing their college.
6. CCP must hold a valid student ID card and show it at check-in the day of tournament.
7. The CC coach, coordinator or president may be one of the seven players.
8. CCP player registration will be on a first-come/first-served basis.
9. At the present time, this program does not include Lakeland Table Tennis Association Sunburst Tour tournaments and applies to the STTC Sunburst Tour tournaments only.
